21st Century Scholars
Freshmen and Sophomores

Graduation Pathways
With the passage of Indiana Department of Education Graduation Pathways, students are now able to individualize their graduation requirements to align to their postsecondary goal. No longer must all students fit into the same academic mold, but rather, they can choose the options that best meet their postsecondary needs and aspirations. Students can create pathways that serve their educational interests and prepares them for postsecondary educational and career opportunities.

Graduation Pathway Requirement #3 - Postsecondary Ready Competencies
Fulfill one of the following:
- Earn Academic or Technical Honors or Distinction Diploma
- Benchmark SAT scores - Additional SAT Testing Information
- Reading/Writing - 480
- Math - 530
- Benchmark ACT scores - More testing information found here
- English - 18
- Reading - 22 **Must meet English or Reading
- Math - 22 AND Math or Science
- Science - 23
- Benchmark ASVAB score - ASVAB Program & Test Information
- 31 or Higher
- IDOE Military Enlistment Form - Indiana students electing to use the ASVAB as a means for meeting graduation pathway requirements must sign this form, beginning with the 2025 graduation cohort. As armed forces qualification test scores are valid for enlistment purposes up to two years following the dates of testing, an official ASVAB exam must be completed in grades 11 or 12. By signing this form, you acknowledge your intent to pursue enlistment and intent to share AFQT scores for enlistment purposes. This document does not release AFQT scores and should not be used for official military purposes.
- CTE Concentrator - Greater Lafayette Career Academy (GLCA)
- Must earn a “C” average or higher in a 6 credit sequence in an approved Next Level Program of Study
- Current GLCA Pathways sequencing
- AP/Dual Credit
- Must earn a “C” average or higher in at least 3 courses
- One of the three courses must be in core content or be a part of a CTE pathway
