McCutcheon names new assistant principal

The Tippecanoe School Corporation is pleased to announce it has hired Adam Reese as a new assistant principal at McCutcheon High School. Reese fills the position created when Michael Lowrey became principal at Wainwright Middle School.

Reese joins the TSC after four years as the Dean of Students at Franklin Community High School. Prior to that, Reese taught social studies and coached football and baseball for several years at Mishawaka High School and West Central Junior-Senior High in Francesville. He earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University, South Bend and his master's degree from Ball State University.

McCutcheon Principal John Beeker says Reese brings experience and passion to the administrative team. "We look forward to welcoming his young family into the McCutcheon community this summer. He is a true educator who enjoys working with high school students and teachers," says Beeker.

As dean of students, Reese will conduct teacher evaluations, manage daily and standardized testing schedules, lead the school's discipline program and oversee the school safety plan.

Reese says he is excited for the opportunity to work at McCutcheon High School. "I couldn't pass up the opportunity to step into a leadership role in such a well-respected corporation," says Reese. "It is clear through meeting several TSC employees that the Lafayette area is a great place to live and work."
