There's exciting news to celebrate from the MHS band program!

At the annual ISSMA adjudication held Friday evening at Lafayette Jefferson High School, the Concert Band - made up primarily of freshmen - and both Symphonic Bands, which include students from freshman through senior years, all earned Gold ratings.  This achievement reflects the students' hard work, dedication, and commitment to musical excellence throughout the season.

The weekend success continued on Sunday afternoon, when the Wind Ensemble delivered an impressive performance on the stage of Elliott Hall of Music.  They were featured as an opening act for two Purdue bands during the university's Spring Showcase concert - an incredible opportunity to perform in a premier venue and share their talents with a wider audience.

These accomplishments highlight the strength and growth of the entire MHS band program, from its newest members to its most experienced performers.
