The 2026 TSC Teachers of the Year

Andrea Bornino, a K-5 physical education teacher at Klondike Elementary School, earned Elementary Teacher of the Year honors, and Diane Beaudoin, a chemistry teacher at Harrison High School, earned Secondary Teacher of the Year honors.

The MHS Robotics team gathers for a picture in cardinal red and gold team shirts.  Several students wear a variety of styles of hats, and their necks are adorned with their State Championship medals.

Maverick Robotics made history by winning the FIRST Indiana State Championship for the first time, finishing ranked #1 and leading their alliance to victory in a thrilling finals series.  The team now advances to the FIRST Championship in Houston at the end of April.

MHS FFA had a successful and active spring, highlighted by the livestock judging team advancing to the state competition and several students qualifying for the state LDE convention in June.  The chapter also had strong participation at LDEs, with 15 students competing and multiple top finishes.  In addition, members are preparing for future competitions in horse judging and launching a community service project with Grant's House, while also welcoming new officers for the upcoming year.

MHS bands had an outstanding weekend of performances and achievements.  The Concert Band and both Symphonic Bands earned Gold ratings at ISSMA adjudication, while the Wind Ensemble performed at Elliott Hall of Music as part of Purdue's Spring Showcase.
