2017 Summer School Information

Tippecanoe School Corporation will be offering summer school opportunities for the 2017 high school summer school program. This schedule will still consist of two sessions allowing students to complete the same amount or courses/credits. However, each session will be completed in three weeks this year.

Summer PE fees can be paid online in the MHS store and in the box office.

Summer School 2017 Session classes

Session 1: June 5th through June 23rd from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm

Session 2: June 26th through July 17th from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm, with the exception of July 4th, as a day off.

  • All classes will meet from 7:30 am -12:30 pm.
    • This schedule matches the number of minutes that a student takes in a course during a traditional semester during the regular school year.
    • This change will permit more flexibility in days/time in the summer for families as well as maintenance of our TSC buildings.
    • The new schedule will be evaluated at the end of each session for effectiveness in order to determine continuation of the schedule for future summers.
  • Transportation to summer school is the student’s responsibility.
  • The Tippecanoe School Corporation Rights, Rules, and Responsibilities are in effect throughout the sessions.

  • To register for the class, please complete the below form and return it WITH PAYMENT to the high school bookkeeper by February 24, 2017.
  • We will NOT accept late registration unless authorized by the administration due to makeup courses. FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE after the second day of summer school. Refundable fees (changes before the second day of class) will apply toward the student’s fall fee payment.
    • Note: The State of Indiana no longer provides assistance for summer school textbooks.
